Slowly, but surely....

Slowly, but surely my store is coming along.  And quite beautifully, I might add.  The window display cases are painted, gone are the once Pepto-pink walls; they now glow a lovely soft shade of cream with just a hint of peach.  Just waiting for the new lighting and a finished ceiling and voila!  On the way to Yarn Land!!!!  However, during this waiting period, I'm frantically knitting my mother-in-law a sweater vest/shell in a lovely red tweed yarn (thank you very much, Miss Sue!).  Have got to have it finished by NEXT Thursday--her 75th birthday!  The pattern is done in the round and quite nice to work up.

New Yarn Life

I am about to open a yarn store.  How stinking exciting is that?!??!?  I'm trying not to jump up and down too much, but I cannot WAIT to be immersed in the fabulous world/work of knitting and yarn as a job!!!!  This, I got to choose.  The store will be comfy and cozy, bright and glowing, warm, inviting, colors abounding.  Jazz music playing, coffee next door, come back and sit and knit some more.  You will.  Oh....I know you will.
